Education & Qualifications:
Shannon Latham is a Family Nurse Practitioner with the Center for Occupational Health & Wellness. She has called Las Vegas her home for more than 15 years, but proud of her Beloit, Wisconsin heritage where she was born and raised. Shannon has a passion for medicine and learning. Her career in medicine started as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); serving the local community as a EMT she was able to see, first hand, the need for qualified medial professionals. In 2010 she graduated from The Community College of Southern Nevada with her Associates Degree in Nursing. She continued to serve the community, working for a non-profit hospice while attending Nevada State College, where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2012. She then attended Gonzaga University, in Spokane, Washington, for her Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus in family medicine; graduating in May of 2018.
Shannon is a proud mother of two and enjoys spending time with her kids when she is not at work. Her other interests and hobbies include reading, sports, and fitness. Shannon spent much of her youth playing ice hockey, this continues to be a passion of hers, though from the side line. In addition to ice hockey, Shannon is an avid lover of golf and football.
Shannon comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience across multiple facets of medicine and she is excited to continue serving the Las Vegas community.
